VETERINARIANS

 

Dr. William Schultz

Dr. Schultz grew up in Holcombe, Wisconsin, on a dairy farm. He graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. Dr. Schultz joined Prairie Veterinary Services right after graduation in 1984. (Prairie Veterinary Services became Southwest Veterinary Services in 1994 after the merger with Blakes Prairie Veterinary Services and later with Bloomington Veterinary Services.) He practices both large and small animal medicine and surgery, performs bovine reproduction work and is on-call for emergencies. Most of his services are based out of the Prairie du Chien and Seneca offices. Dr. Schultz has 2 children, 2 adorable grandchildren, 1 dog and 2 cats.

 

Dr. Steven Holler

Dr. Steve grew up in Lodi, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 and joined the staff after graduation. He practices both large and small animal medicine and surgery and is on-call for emergencies. Dr. Steve works out of the Bloomington and Prairie du Chien offices. He has 3 children (with Dr. Sarah Holler) and all the pets listed below!

 

Dr. Sarah Holler

Dr. Sarah grew up in Osseo, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She joined the staff in February 1999 after working at Dells Animal Hospital for 8 months. Dr. Sarah practices small animal medicine and surgery at the Prairie du Chien office. She has 3 beautiful children, 2 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 rabbits.

 

Dr. Janet Patterson

Dr. Janet grew up in Sauk City, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She joined the staff in March 2006 after working at Veterinary Associates in Lancaster, Wisconsin, and Tender Care Animal Hospital in Prairie du Chien. Dr. Janet practices small animal medicine and surgery at the Prairie du Chien office. She has 4 beautiful children, 1 dog and many cats.

 

Dr. Matt Raisbeck

Dr. Matt grew up in Bloomington, WI and graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. He joined the staff that same year and practices both large and small animal medicine and surgery, while also providing emergency on-call services. He is based out of the Prairie du Chien and Seneca offices. Outside of work, Dr. Matt enjoys a full and busy home life with his wife, Bobbi and their five children. When he’s not caring for patients, he’s often tending to their animals, which includes three dogs, farm cats, chickens, and a couple calves. He values the opportunity to live a hands-on lifestyle with his family and has a deep appreciation for the role animals play both on the farm and at home.

 

Dr. Katelyn Linder

Dr. Katelyn grew up outside of Patch Grove, WI on her family’s farm. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2025 and joined the practice right after graduation. Dr. Katelyn works mainly out of the Prairie du Chien and Seneca offices practicing on both small and large animals, and is on-call for emergencies. Outside of work, Dr. Katelyn enjoys riding horses, baking and taking care of her array of farm animals. She recently just got married and bought a farm with her husband, Josh.

Sheri Dingbaum

Sheri grew up in Ryan, Iowa, and farmed in Masonville, IA until moving to Seneca in 1991. She joined the staff in 1993 when the clinic was still called Prairie Veterinary Services, which became Southwest Veterinary Services in 1994. Sheri has 3 children and 6 beautiful grandchildren.

Julie Moret, Veterinary Assistant/Reception

Julie grew up in Wauzeka, Wisconsin, and graduated from Southwest Tech in 1991 with an associate’s degree in Health Unit Coordinating. Julie joined the staff in 2003. She works mainly in the Prairie du Chien office and occasionally in the Seneca office. Julie has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. She also has 1 dog, many cats, and raises calves.

 

Katie Martin, Reception/Vet Assistant

Katie has been working in the veterinary field for over 15 years. She joined Southwest Vet in Feb 2024. Katie and her husband, Shawn have one daughter named Addie, 2 cats named Pete and Mr. Piffles and a Newfoundland named Sailyr. They also have Holstein cows and numerous farm cats.

 

Kayla Needham, Certified Veterinary Technician

Kayla grew up in Patch Grove, Wisconsin, and started here as a kennel worker in 2005 while in high school. She earned her Veterinary Technician degree from Madison College in 2009. Kayla worked at veterinary clinics in Driggs, Idaho, and Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, before rejoining the practice in 2013. Kayla has 4 busy children, 1 dog, 2 rabbits, many cats, a couple goats, pigs, and beef cattle.

 

Cassie Young, Veterinary Technician

Cassie grew up in Eastman, WI and started here as a kennel attendant in 2012 before going on to earn her Veterinary Technician degree from Globe University in 2017. Cassie joined our staff as an intern in her final semester of college and then as a technician after graduation. Cassie has 2 children, 1 dog, a garden, and has plans to add rabbits and chickens to her little homestead in the near future.

 

Nicole Sturmer, Certified Veterinary Technician

Nicole grew up in Bagley, Wisconsin. She interned here during her final semester and earned her Veterinary Technician degree from Northeast Iowa Community College in 2019. Nicole joined the staff right after graduation. She has 2 crazy dogs named Oscar and Marley and she has a cat named Gizmo.

 

Jackie DeShaw, Veterinary Assistant/Reception

Jackie grew up in Mt. Hope, Wisconsin, and joined the staff in November 2020. Jackie has 3 beautiful children, 2 dogs, and beef cattle.

 

Deb Moris, Veterinary Assistant

Deb and her husband, Kenny, live near Bloomington with their son, Colton, dog and three horses. She has worked for Southwest Vet for over 20 years. She enjoys camping, horseback riding and UTV riding.

 

Andrea Crubel, Grooming

Andrea grew up in Eastman, Wisconsin, and started here as a kennel worker in 2000. During college, she was a vet assistant when available to work, plus she completed an internship here in 2007. Andrea received her Animal Science degree from UW-Platteville in 2008. She rejoined the staff as a veterinary assistant from 2012-2020. Andrea started grooming pets in 2015, full-time starting in 2021. Andrea has 4 busy children, 3 dogs, 3 cats, sheep and beef cattle.

 

Bobbi Raisbeck, Groomer

Bobbi has been grooming since 2019 and joined the Southwest team in 2022. In October 2025, she married Dr. Matt Raisbeck, and together they share a busy, love-filled home with their five children. At home, Bobbi helps care for a lively crew of animals, including their dogs, farm cats, chickens, and a couple of calves. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and embracing their active hands-on lifestyle. Bobbi is in the clinic five days a week and loves helping pets look and feel their best.

 

Megan Cashman, Veterinary Technician

Megan grew up in Mineral Point, WI and graduated from Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington, WY where she earned her associates degree in Veterinary Technology in 2018. She currently lives in Boscobel, WI with her husband Jared and their daughter Alayah. She has two dogs, Cooper an Australian Shepherd and Tilly a Chocolate Lab and two cats, Milo and Theo. In her free time, she enjoys downhill skiing, kayaking and spending time outdoors.

 

Justine Waterman, Veterinary Technician

Justine is originally from Chisago Lakes, MN and recently moved to Southwest WI to live with her new husband. She has been working in Emergency Veterinary medicine, and both large and small animal medicine since 2021 and is now enjoying working with the animals here at Southwest Vet. Justine will be graduating in May 2026 with her Veterinary Nursing Degree. She has two dogs, AJ and Strait, and two horses, Rosie and Chai.

 

Hali Lechnir, Kennel Attendant

Hali grew up in Prairie du Chien. She has spent some time in Florida and Tennessee as well. She attended school at the Wauzeka-Steuben High School. She grew up on a farm with a variety of animals such as pigs, chickens as well as cats and dogs. She loves animals, so being able to work with them is great.

 

Holly Cabrera, Veterinary Technician

Holly grew up in Blue River, WI on a small hobby farm. She began working in the Veterinary field in 2023 as a Veterinary Assistant. She is currently in school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has one daughter, one dog Ronnie, two cats Bluey and Dottie, and three horses, Winchester, Apache and Coach. In her free time she enjoys reading, and horseback riding with her daughter.

 

Jessica Hein, Certified Veterinary Assistant

Jess grew up in Northeast Iowa. She is a Certified Veterinary Assistant and trained technician with over 15 years of experience in Veterinary medicine. She is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care and loves helping both pets and their people feel comfortable and cared for during every visit. Whether she is assisting with patient care or connecting with clients, she will always strive to bring a calm, friendly presence and genuine love for what she does. Outside of work, she stays busy with her fiance Ty and two young boys, Tate and Triggyn. Their home also includes two Auggie dogs named Tully and Rook, and outside you can find horses and chickens—so caring for animals isn’t just her job, it’s her everyday life!

 

Lexi Harper, Certified Veterinary Technician

Lexi grew up in Mt. Hope, WI. She started here as a kennel attendant in high school. She earned her Veterinary Technician degree at Northeast Iowa Community College in 2019, and rejoined our clinic in 2024. She and her husband have two dogs, Theo and Ella, two cats Winnifred and Garfield, a small herd of beef cattle, and two horses. In her free time, she likes to spend her time outside.

 

Arianna, Kennel Attendant/Daycare

Arianna grew up in Prairie du Chien and has been working here since January 2026 as a kennel attendant and helps run doggy daycare. She has one cat, King Charles, and two dogs, Luna and Violet. In her free time, she enjoys watching the NBA and anything Bravo. She also likes attending concerts and doing diamond art.

Sheila Neises

Sheila grew up in Patch Grove, Wisconsin. She started working at Blake’s Prairie Veterinary Service in 1987 (with Dr. Jeff Hunt) and then joined Southwest Veterinary Services with the merger in 1994. She worked with many veterinarians over the years, including Dr. Jeff Davis, Dr. Kevin Holman, Dr. Mike Goul, Dr. Bill Braun, and Dr. Darren Katzung during her time in the Bloomington and North Andover offices. She has 2 children and 2 beautiful grandchildren.

 

Carolyn Bierman

Carolyn grew up in Cuba City, Wisconsin. She joined the staff part-time in 2003 and started full-time in 2012. She has 3 children and 5 beautiful grandchildren.

 

Janelle Murray

Janelle grew up in Minnesota. She worked at Veterinary Associates in Lancaster and joined Southwest Veterinary Services when the clinics merged. She has several hunting dogs and raises beef cattle.
